EFT Level 2 - Practitioner Training

Building on the foundations of EFT Level 1 we learn the tools and techniques of a Practitioner.

What is EFT Level 2?

EFT Level 2 builds on the foundations established in Level 1, developing your understanding and practical skills as you progress towards becoming an EFT International-accredited Practitioner.

The training goes deeper into the techniques learned at Level 1 and introduces more advanced techniques and nuanced approaches, helping you work with greater confidence, flexibility and sensitivity across a broader range of emotional issues.

For therapists and clinicians, Level 2 provides an opportunity to explore how EFT can be integrated more deeply into your existing therapeutic practice, drawing on your professional experience while developing your EFT-specific skills.

Throughout the training, particular emphasis is placed on the therapeutic relationship, practitioner self-awareness, ethical practice and the importance of working safely within your professional competence.

Completion of Level 2 training is an important step towards EFT International Practitioner accreditation, although additional assessment, mentoring and practice requirements must also be completed before accreditation can be awarded.

Who is the training for?

EFT Level 2 is designed for therapists and clinicians who have completed EFT Level 1 training and would like to develop their skills further, either to integrate EFT more fully into their existing practice or to work towards EFT International Practitioner accreditation.

The training is particularly suitable for existing groups of professional colleagues, clinical teams and therapeutic organisations who would like to continue their EFT learning together.

Participants must have completed EFT Level 1 training before progressing to Level 2, providing the foundations on which the more advanced learning is built.

Training can be arranged for groups of six or more participants, with opportunities to explore how the developing EFT skills complement your existing therapeutic approaches.

How is the training structured?

The training combines guided video learning with live, interactive teaching and supported practice, giving you time to deepen your understanding and develop your EFT skills at a manageable pace.

We begin with a one-hour introductory session, where we'll meet as a group, explore what to expect from the training and prepare for the learning ahead.

You'll then work through a series of carefully structured training videos before each of the first two live training days. These introduce the key concepts and techniques, allowing us to devote more of our time together to practical application, demonstration, discussion and supported practice.

The third training day is dedicated to observed practice, reflection and discussion. This provides an opportunity to demonstrate your developing EFT skills, receive constructive feedback and explore the challenges and learning that arise through practical work.

Throughout the training, we'll consider how EFT can be integrated thoughtfully and safely into your existing therapeutic approach, with particular attention to the therapeutic relationship, ethical awareness and practitioner self-reflection.

What will you learn?

EFT Level 2 builds on the knowledge and skills developed during Level 1, following the official EFT International curriculum for Practitioner Training.

You'll learn the tools, techniques and approaches used by EFT Practitioners, developing the skills needed to work confidently and effectively with a broader range of emotional issues.

The training also develops greater depth, flexibility and precision in your use of foundational EFT techniques, helping you move beyond following a procedure towards a more responsive and individualised way of working.

Together, these skills provide the foundation for developing competence as an EFT Practitioner and progressing towards EFT International Practitioner accreditation.
